Who the hell cares about Harvard I mean look it's an elite school filled with egghead professors and rich kids right. But let me tell you why I think everyone no matter where you are in the political spectrum whether you love Donald Trump and agree with his ideas or vehemently oppose them why all of us should care very much about what's happening at Harvard. Now underneath all the noise the bottom line is that this is an attack on free speech. But let's imagine for a moment the precedent that this is setting 'cause this isn't about Harvard it's really about America. At the bedrock of American democracy from the very beginning what made us different at the time than any other country in the world was the right to free speech the right to free assembly the right to disagree whether you were in the majority or not. You see you can't have it both ways We either believe in free speech and the right to assembly or we don't. You may not think you care about Harvard but you should.
